Brainstorm with us?

My informational non-profit just got off the ground, and we're running as fast as we can. This page is a resource for A. Leaving good ideas in a raw format and B. showing people, who want to contribute, how the process has unfolded so far. Have an idea, a dataset, or want to help build? Email us

Sep 2026 - Another catchup/consultation

This keeps getting more interesting and I am either getting really lucky, or have a clearer idea of my mission that I realize. My friend was EXACTLY the right person to speak on making the dashboard more interactive. Possibly switching the options from the right of the header to the left to emulate a table of contents. Putting the buy me a coffee in the footer b.c it is currently buried.

Another great idea they fleshed out which I had already been trying to put into words was a notification sign up and account system. That is exactly what I can make for the average user who came to my page to minimize the path to exposure of the things I am espousing. Once I mentioned the merch, they also mentioned experience in non-profits through a course from Haas Business school. He also had to bring up narrowing focus. Interesting. My natural, elegant laziness is likely an asset here.

Lastly, having the songs or art embedded is must for the next rounds of polish. Miniziming the path to exposure of content is the whole purpose and again reflects the "meta infographic" structure I enjoy. I also promised an Armenia hub but I also need a special Bangladesh Hub and a lot more tigers everywhere.

September 2026 — Consultation with a lawyer

Met with a friend at Stanford Law today. Previously they worked at a prestigous non-profit and this consultation was to see what it would take to legitmize my idea and to catch up. They mentioned Informational non-profits and holy $#!% that is exactly what my thing is. He also spoke of resources provided by his former job and keeping the focus narrow. I think making this an information first mission helos that as I will never ask for money except at the end with a buy me a coffee.

Right now only my math murder making a difference article is out. It has defintely caught some people's attention. I have something here that much is obvious. My skill with data viz plus my hardcore lab experience has set me up in a strangely well way for all this. Data processing, understanding complicated new technical fields, and concise SOPs.. it's all relevant which is prty fcking crazy. Looking at some of these pages though they kind of fucking suck. I could frame mine as a new take on info non-profits in the post social media world. I am not seeing something like this anywhere. Everything is crowded/vague but backs up with real data.

That is the thing, they are providing access to data that is hard to reach but no one really knows how to use it imo. People that could use it or are on the ground level have no way to tap into these DBs without training. Therefore they probably there for people like me, to do something with. Maybe my informational non-profit is an education prioritized mission. Meaning I help others take this information and build, or get commissioned to build something with them. I would likely be the one showing them the existence of such resources in the first place.

Breakfast (coffee sandwich and chips) plus showing Creighton's in San Francisco was the consultation fee I paid.
